Annual Business Meeting
The Annual Business Meeting (ABM) convenes once a year, bringing together the voting members of Toastmasters International. It is primarily held for the election of Board Members and to conduct other business of the organization.
Every member can help shape the future of the organization. Start by learning about the International Officer and Director candidates and any proposals for amendments to the Bylaws of Toastmasters International and the Club Constitution for Clubs of Toastmasters International.
All club officers help facilitate the discussion about the international candidates and proposals. Club members also decide who will cast the clubs’ two votes and if/how the club will provide instructions to a proxyholder.
The Club President or Club Secretary is responsible for assigning the club's proxy to the designated proxyholder, prior to the deadline.
Proxyholders are responsible for completing the Credentials process on time and attending the Annual Business Meeting to cast assigned votes.
